PEMBELAJARAN XXX : MENCARI HOTEL

Dalam Pembelajaran XXX ini kita mencoba mencari hotel di suatu tempat yang baru bagi kita.
Cerita ini teradi pada tahun 1982 pada malam yang gelap di musim dingin :
It was late on evening. It was raining. It was windy. A storm was beginning. We were driving along a quiet road in the East of Scotland.
Lk. : Look at a hotel. I'm tired. So, we start. We got out of the car. The hotel was a large old building. We knocked the door. Somebody's coming,
Lk.H = Laki-aki Hotel, Lk.G = Laki-laki Guest/Tamu
Lk.H : Yes, can I help you?
Lk.G : Do you have a sibgle room for tonight?
Lk.H : Yes, I do. Come in, come this way!
Lk.G : Thank you
Lk.H : Here own your keys. Room thirty and .......
Lk.G : Where are rooms?
Lk.H : Go up the stairs and tuirn left the corridor
Lk.G : We went up the stairs and walked along the corridor
Pr.G : All rooms're empty. There's somebody here. There's four rooms.
Lk.G : I'll take "thirteen"
Lk.G : I was tired. I got into bed. I went to sleep. I slept for four hours. I slept until two o'clock, then I wome suddenly, I heard voices. I smelt smoke. UI saw flames. All the rooms are empty.
Pr.O : Are you all right? What's the matter?
Lk.G : the hotel on fire. There is a fire. a fire
Pr.G : Where? I looked there was no smoke, there was no voices, there was no fire.
Lk.G : Sorry, sorry. It was a dream. a bad dream, "The Hotel On Fire".
Five years later (after 1982), we were driving along the same road.
Pr.G : Peter, did you remember the hotel?
We looked for the hotel, but it wasn't there. I asked a man
Pr.G : Where is it? It was here. I'm sure.
Pr.G : Excuse me, is there a hotel here?
Lk. (a man) : No, there was a hotel here until 1930.
Pr.G : yes, what happened to it? There's been no hotel since then.
Lk. (a man) : Ir burnt down in July 1930
burnt down = terbakar habis
