We have a friend, called John.
Well, one day, John broke an old vas. The vas was his mother. John didn't tell his mother.
He drove to London ? He didn't drive to London, he went there by train.
He saw a similar vas in a shop window ( shop window = etalase toko)
He bought it for fifty pounds. John took the vas home in a box. His mother was there.
She said, it was very ugly. I didn't like it.
CONVERSATION :
John            : well, one day I broke an old vas
His wife       : No, dear. It wasn't a vas
John            : Sorry
His wife       : You didn't break a vas
John            : OK, a lamp
He broke a lamp. The lamp was his mother
He didn't drive to London, he went there by train
He bought it  for fifty pounds. No, no. he didn't buy it for fifty pounds
He bought it for thirty five pounds.
He broke a vas.   He didn't break a vas
He drove to London. He didn't drive to London
He saw a vas. He didn't see a vas
