How menanyakan tentang kualitas/keadaan sesuatu.
- tentang penerbangan : How was your flight?
- tentang kesehatan : How's your headache?
- tentang penganan/makanan : How was the food?

Pr. : How is the food?
Lk.-2 : Right, I'd love the hot weather too.
Pr. : Good, and how is the hot trip?
Lk.-2 : The hot trip : everything is right, except the mosquitos. I hate them.

Lk.-2 : Very good. I'd like being in the center of the city.
You're staying in Majestic Hotel, aren't you?

Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan untuk bercakap-cakap menanggapi tamu :
1. Pilih topik yang aman;
2. Buatlah percakapan bergulir terus;
3. Mencari tahu apa minat/kesukaan tamu anda
4. Perhatikan bahasa tubuh tamu anda.
Berikut in saran-saran (tips) untuk bersosialisasi atau bergaul :
Orang dari Burme :
1) take the initiatives, introduce new topic of conversation (ambil inisiatif, perkenalkan topik baru percakapan);
2) Choose general topic at the first (pilihlah topik yang umum atau jangan terlalu pribadi pada saat pertama-tama bertemu dengan tamu
Orang dari Thai : Don't assume too much. As possible as forty years old and unmarried, and happy (Jangan menilai mereka dari sudut pandang kita. Mungkin dia 40 tahun dan tidak menikah, dan bahagia)/
